Vice President, Agency Relations & Strategy
I love helping purpose-driven companies and nonprofit organizations find their voice and meet the moment.
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategic communications, public relations, crisis communications and advocacy. I help executives and founders conceptualize and implement high-caliber PR strategies and visibility campaigns, and draw upon best practices across categories to deliver results.
At MAPR, I lead our Awareness Campaign, Built Environment and Cleantech/Renewable Energy practice areas. I am, alas, the lone lover of Oxford commas in an office that is deeply committed to the AP Stylebook.
Prior to joining MAPR, I served as the senior manager for public relations at Ball Aerospace and as spokesman and director of communications at former Vice President Al Gore’s global climate change initiative. I spent the first half of my professional career in New York City, where I worked as the chief of staff at the Rockefeller Foundation, as the chief of staff and deputy managing director at Grayling Global (f/k/a Global Consulting Group) and as a senior advisor at the United Nations.
I recently completed a five-year term as the chair of Boulder’s Transportation Advisory Board and currently serve on the Boulder Chamber of Commerce’s Community Affairs Council, as well as the board of directors at Cyclists 4 Community. You can follow me on LinkedIn, or browse my posts on MAPR’s blog where you’ll find some of my favorite PR tips, insights and lessons-learned.
