After two years of a successful public relations collaboration between Metzger and the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA), the organization approached Metzger with a new project.
For many years CCIA had paid for an advertising section in a local magazine where they would provide articles and information on CCIA and its member companies. As their organization grew and their story evolved, they approached Metzger to advise on additional options to convey their organization’s story.
After conducting in-depth industry and community research, Metzger proposed the Innovative Energy Review, a 42-page full-glossy annual journal for CCIA. During a six month time period, Metzger developed the article ideas, conducted interviews, wrote feature articles, collected photos and logos from companies, designed the magazine, and managed layout and printing.
After the magazine was complete, Metzger worked with CCIA to distribute the publication to more than 10,000 energy industry influencers throughout the United States. The Innovative Energy Review helped CCIA fully convey its message and raise awareness of the groundbreaking clean tech work being done in Colorado.
